Mia is a little pocket rocket of energy, typical for her breed. Even at such a young age, she is already showing great potential for herding, dog sports and obedience. She is incredibly smart and focused for a young pup.
She is constantly watching and evaluating the world around her, and using her little puppy brain to figure out how to please you – and how to get you to sit her food bowl down! She instinctively charges around after the bigger dogs, and believes she’s the one rounding them back up. Mia will be a very active young lady who will require daily exercise and mental stimulation.
She loves people and is very eager to please. She came into foster care, a little unsure of other dogs, due to a lack of socialisation prior to her surrender, however has improved with leaps and bounds in this area, living in a pack of 5 dogs and puppies of all ages, she is quickly overcoming her insecurities.
Unlike other puppies her age, she isn’t mouthy at all, nor does she bite ankles or have any destructive behaviours, that we have seen. This has meant that Mia has been able to settle in very easily with the older members of the pack, without constantly harassing them. Nor does she mouth her carers, which has made her an absolute delight of a puppy to care for.
Mia hasn’t had any accidents in the house or her crate while in care, and is taking everything in her stride. It’s very rare to find a little pup who doesn’t bite, destroy things or toilet in the house, she is a little gem!
